The high-precision cartridge design reduces friction between the lid and shell resulting in up to 10 000 open/shut repetitions. The data cartridge shell is made of heat- and shock-resistant ABS resin to assure stable tape transport and to provide protection in the toughest conditions. In addition the polypropylene storage case protects the tape from dust particles and absorbs physical shock during transportation and handling.
